SUMMARY

I am a former student athlete and thanks to the sport I was fortunate to live 7 years of my life journey in US, studying and working. The sport taught me that ambition, focus and discipline are three key elements to continuously improve my craft.

Currently, my ambition, focus and discipline are towards delivering customer oriented solutions leading a team (8 people), building strong relationship and learning/improving along the process.

Collaborative work has been a key factor to achieve +530M USD acquisitions throughout my career.

ABOUT DOUG

Douglas (Doug) Yossida was born in São Paulo, SP – Brazil, and is 34 years-old today. He was fortunate to live 7 of those years in U.S. playing tennis, studying and working.

At the age of 10, Doug started to play tennis and did not stop until he finished college, at age 23. He received both academic and athletic scholarships to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.) at Michigan Technological University, graduating in the Spring of 2012.

Everything Doug has achieved is thanks to his experiences playing tennis and his family support. At very young age Doug started to believe that happiness lies with progress and dreams. Finding ways to improve himself at a personal and professional level has been his life´s motivation

After retiring from the sport, Doug found a new passion to move on with his professional career: sales and business development.

Currently living in São-Paulo, SP – Brazil, Doug has +10 years work experience – most within the automotive industry – and now he is working in sales/business development leading a team (8 people), excelling, with over 530M USD in acquisitions.

Doug´s achievements and continuous PROGRESS are based on three key elements: AMBITION, FOCUS and DISCIPLINE. He calls it the PROGRESS triad.

Ambition: Progress cannot begin if there is no motivation to “burn”. Dream BIG. Think BIG.

Focus: A source of energy is needed in order for activities occur. Mental muscles needed.

Discipline: Do it. To sustain the improvement, discipline is needed.

If any of the three element is cut off, it will kill the progress.
