As a former student-athlete, I spent seven years in the U.S., studying and working, where I developed a performance-driven mindset. My experience in sports instilled in me the importance of ambition, focus, and discipline—three key elements that drive progress. High performance is driven by strategic behaviors, relentless execution, and decisive actions.

Currently, I apply these principles to leading an 8-person Sales and Business Intelligence team at SEG Automotive, delivering customer-oriented solutions, and building strong relationships. The commitment to collaboration has been instrumental in achieving over $530M in acquisitions throughout my career. I am dedicated to fostering growth within organizations by shaping behaviors and driving actions that enhance performance, efficiency, and long-term success. I thrive in high-performance environments, constantly learning and refining my approach to maximize impact.

ABOUT DOUGLAS

Douglas (Doug) Yossida, born in São Paulo, Brazil, is a performance-driven professional with a relentless commitment to growth. He spent seven years in the U.S., where he played competitive tennis, pursued higher education, and launched his career.

At the age of 10, Doug picked up a tennis racket and never looked back, competing until he graduated from Michigan Technological University, in 2012 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He earned both academic and athletic scholarships, a testament to his dedication, resilience, and pursuit of excellence. His achievements are deeply rooted in the discipline instilled by sports and the unwavering support of his family. From a young age, Doug believed that happiness comes from progress and that continuous self-improvement is the key to success—both personally and professionally.

After retiring from competitive sports, Doug transitioned his drive and competitive edge into sales and business development. With over 12 years of experience—primarily in the automotive industry—he now leads an 8-person team at SEG Automotive, focusing on customer-oriented solutions, relationship-building, and high-impact results. His leadership has played a critical role in securing over $530M in acquisitions, demonstrating his ability to deliver performance at scale.
